Thing you should know about WUJIDO .
This man, 'Dr.' Harkins advertises himself as a Grand Master of Kung Fu, and his staff tells people he has multiple PhD's and 'secret' techniques. The whole basis of the sale is the level of skill and prestige of the instructor, 'Dr.' Harkins. However, after only one class, one learns that:

1. The instructor does not teach the classes. The classes are taught by uncertified students. This is both unsafe, and an absolute 'bait and switch'.

2. Though you will be told when you sign the contract that you can get out whenever you want, this is not true. Even after 1 class they will try to get you to pay up for the entire 18 month contract ($2600.00 appx). They have a 'no refunds' policy, and try to collect money for services they sold based on outright lies.

3. There is no record of Formal education for Mr. Harkins. Only an association or federation can give 10th degree black belt, and he doesn't have it! So he is not a Dr. of any kind.
He is also not certified with any of the major martial arts associations. I called and checked up on every association and school he listed on his 'Linked-In' professional public profile. You can do it too. Don't take my word for it, go to www.linkedin.com and call and check up on what he has listed under 'Honors' and 'Education'. It won't take much research to realize this guy is a con artist, and not even really a clever liar. Read some of his rambling diatribes on www.wujidomartialarts.com. There is no way he has earned any advanced degree, especially in 'Martial Arts Philosophy'. I can't even find a single college that offer that degree! A freshman philosophy student would be able to tear about the psychobabble he posts in his 'Open Letter from Dr. Harkins'. Oh, yeah, this 'PhD' has not published ANYTHING. Suspicous yet?

4. He does not teach kung-fu. He uses inaccurate methods, vocabulary, techniques, and even improper uniforms. His instructors even taught me 'Horse Stance' wrong, with my fingernails against my thighs, not facing out. They will also teach you a made up 'Tiger Stance' that is totally ineffective and does not exist in the Kung Fu system. Also, they will show you a retarded hissing cat pose that is utterly worthless and just plain silly unless you want to make someone giggle to death. You will be hissing and horsing around by the time you leave! I got suspicious after I went home and tried to look up these insane forms. Then I visited a few real Sifus who all agreed this was not Kung-Fu, but a made up system of Crap-Fu.

5. There are over 10 better business bureau complaints about this man in the past year. That is more than any other business his size in the area. He has no credentials, and tries to lock people into a contract based on false promises and lies. He breaches the contract before you even sign it by lying about his credentials and not even being present at class. Do not pay him.

6. Do not be fooled by his induction into the Martial Arts hall of fame. Anyone can pay $179.00 to be inducted.

7. He is not respected in the Martial arts community. Just call around, or read some of the martial arts chat forums.

8. Nothing I have said here is rhetoric. I based all of my facts on things you can verify for yourself. I have nothing to gain by exposing this man, except knowing that I am preventing innocent consumers from being taken advantage of.

9. They will tell you he trained in China for years. Ask him who he trained under, and if you can have their contact information. He will throw you out of the office (if you get the illustrious privilege of talking to him, and not Andy). You tell me, would a credible grand master act in such a way? The Chinese system is all about self control, honor, and respect. Just read some of his replies on this sight and watch as he debases himself with his unprofessional language.

10. According to the martial art association in the USA, the is NO ONE teaching Wujido (Wujiquan) martial art in the USA
