I rented a matress from rentway. It became stained. I had asked them to take it back. Twice they told me they would pick it up but did not. I was lied to by the manager of the store saying I had said I'd had it cleaned. I said no such thing. My income has changed as well and I cannot afford to pay for this bed otherwise.

I was treated very rudely, lied to, and dehumanized in this process. I figure if they can afford to have the matress cleaned then why can't they do it.

I want closure on this case. I was told it would be a police thing by manager then before that he said he'd sue me. Well I am an ssi recipient. You can't get blood out of a stone. I told them to wait for next week and that I'd pay up on it. They said they could not wait.

PS. When I recieved mattresss I was told it had never been used before and was completely new. It had no plastic cover on it, which if it had had one, I would've kept it on.

It's me, Michael, from Phoenix. You have been a customer of Bank of America for 15 years. Have you been a Rentway customer for 15 years?

You said that I was some sort of an anti-establishment person. You are a pro-establishment person!

Talking about Rentway, lets get it straight. Never, never, never, be late on a payment when you are almost to the end of the payment in full of the furniture. They get very aggresive at recovering their merchandise. Pay on time when you owe the last few dollars, or make it hard for them to locate you, legally of course.

Steve, Steve, Steve, shame on you!

Regardless of who stained the mattress they must take it back. Your agreement expires in 7 days. If they don't take it back then its on them. They must maintain a small % of people that are allowed to be late. And as you get later and later they will come to pick it up. And as for the lady's husband that has BILLION Dollar store.
Rentway doesn't have billion dollar store so why don't you lie some more to us.

They do not rip people off i no first hand, there may be some stores in the u.s that do i just no that my husbands store doesnt, my suggestion would be to call 1-800-rentway and im sure the dvp will take care of it, but i do no they will NOT take back a soiled mattress that was YOUR fault, u are suppose to take care of THERE merchandise tell its paid off, thats just to funny...

What do yu smart asses mean "you stained it its yours"WRONG these items are sold by the payment.They have no qualms about reselling used items as brand new,for 3 or 4 times the actual value.The punks tried to send me a used mattrice along with a box spring that was torn.Wsant going to bother to charge top $$$.

And people on SSI sometimes have no choice,the way credit is doled out these days.

So SCREW all you employes,who are defending a scam shack.I bought a brand new tv,RCA,and the day i made my last paymeny,it stopped working.
And i know several other people right here were i live,that have had the same problem.Pay it off,it stops working.Then i was lied to about my warrenty...2 yaers it was supposed to be..yeah right.

SCREW RENTWAY AND THEIR CHEAP GOODS[and yu employies who are sucking up by saying they are honest].Never again will i ever buy from them.By the way..over the 7 years that bought different things...i was late once....during open heart surgey,and that was 1 day late.
Theydont deserve loyal cutomers.

They deleiverd the wrong item to a friends house....took them 3 weeks to pick it up,then thought they were gonna charge him for the 3 weeks.LOL buyer beware.

My husband is a store manager of a billon dollar store and it kills me when people think these companies owe them something, these companies are for people that have bad credit and cannot get a loan or credit ne where, what gives u the idea to think there gonna take a soiled mattress bak, u r suppose to take care of THERE merchandise untell u have it paid off then u can do whatever u want with it, yes they will prolly sue u and u will have to pay them bak....unbelieveable ur the ripoff not them

Good God, I don't know whether to laugh or gag at that posting. A stained-a*s mattress, and she wants to return it? That's really nasty, not to mention ridiculous. What in the world kind of stain is it? ...Er, I don't want to know. So Lisa, good luck with your quest in returning the soiled product you were renting for an inflated price. Gross.

And, if you are only on SSI, WHY WOULD YOU EVEN CONSIDER renting from these people.

Do you have any common sense at all, or do you just feel that everyone owes you something?

Why don't you just take some responsibility for your own actions?
