21st Mortgage gave me the highest interest rate possible even though I had a great credit score. The company policy is to harass you as much as possble in order to intimidate a customer to pay.

I am paying close to $300,000.00 on a $90,000.00 loan. The customer service sucks and are very unprofessional. The only thing the supervisor cared about was getting a payment even though I've been a loyal customer for over 13 years. No reason given for why I received such a high interest rate and my neighbors with poor credit received a lower interest rate! My attorney will figure that out! I have nothing left to lose dealing with greedy banks, loan sharks, and perdators! I'm sueing and I hope you that see this message join with me on a class action that will show them we are no longer victims!

21st supervisor got on the phone with me and tried to yell as if I was a kid! I'm a Marine Corp Vet, Law Enforcement for 25 years, disabled veteran that served my country in Desert Storm and Iraqi Freedom, christian, and tax payer that protects his country from all enemies forgien and domestic. 21st Mortgage is a Predator and is killing the American Dream by harassing good working people and trying to take their homes! Let's show them we mean business and out class them with a strong class action suit!

I received a forecosure letter after 2 weeks of being late, even after I explained my situation! Unamerican businesses shouldn't received good American hard earned money! Don't use this company and May God bless all those that believe in keeping things honest!

Oh Poor Baby

AUTHOR: Jim - (USA)

First of all, I am damned sick and tired of you DEADBEAT whiners who pull out the Veteran card, which is NOTHING more than a ploy to get sympathy because YOU didn't get your own way! You are a DISGRACE to all of us who have worn the uniform and continue to wear the uniform. Try being a DEADBEAT while on active duty. See how far that gets you! What is really dumb and stupid about your whining is how you overlook one very easy to understand FACT. They would make maximum money by holding on to the loan and collecting all the interest instead of being hell bent on doing a foreclosure. Of course, there are some DEADBEATS who are too risky to do that with and you are probably one of them. You may think you are being so cute and proper by coming here to defame them as an immature tactic to get even with them because YOU caused the consequences of dealing with COLLECTORS but that isn't going to work here. Don't waste the efforts writing back I must work for them of any of the others who called you out must work for them because it's not going to work. None of us do!!!

Welcome to Capitalism

AUTHOR: coast - (USA)

Your dissatisfaction with the interest rate is a case of buyer’s remorse. An attorney cannot help you with that.

The previous commenter is absolutely correct that there is no way you received a foreclosure notice after missing a payment by two weeks. Now tell us the real story. You are in loan default. You won’t be suing anyone.

Why do you claim the lender is an un-American business? There is nothing un-American about collecting a debt. It’s called Capitalism. Your “situation” has no relevance unless it is covered by a clause in the financial agreement.

Bring out the violin

First off your military status means nothing in this case and is just used to try and gain some sympathy. Your attitude is actually quite a disservice to the honorable members of the military who take responsibility for their actions and don't go looking for the first person they can blame.

This company didn't GIVE you anything. You applied for a Mortgage and they offered you a loan with specific terms. The time to complain about being offered the "highest rate" possible was BEFORE you signed. If they refused to lower the rate and you could have done better, it is YOUR responsibility to go apply somewhere else.  But you didn't do that..why? Perhaps it is because your financial situation wasn't as great as you want us to believe.

Now, as for this foreclosure notice. What is the rest of the story? A company is not going to foreclose on a house with a single payment that is two weeks late.

But the funny and sad thing in this is something that is quite common. The more "deadbeat" entitlement mentality someone has the quicker they are to bring out the attorney "card". Where they are going to pay their attorney a load of money to go back and research credit records from 13 years ago. All the while these people can't even make their mortgage payment on-time. Note I am not calling you a deadbeat but you have the mentality of one,

What are the loan details? What was(is) the Interest rate was it fixed or variable? Was 90K the amount financed or the amount before your down payment? What was your down payment? What is your monthly payment? How many years is the loan for.

Does the payment you are making include? Does(did) it include PMI, or any impound accounts such as taxes or insurance. As if it did that is something outside of the loan you need to pay anyways and can't count toward the total amount paid on the loan.
