I recently purchased a voucher from Moolala for "$49 for a 2-Night Hotel Stay in Any US City!".

Here's the ad:

3 Days/2 Nights + Airfare Credit or Dinner in Any U.S. City

It's time for a family getaway in your favorite city!

Right now you can get a 3 day 2 night, fun getaway for 2 - 4 guests to your favorite city in the U.S.! As a bonus you can choose an airfare credit of up to $400 when we book your hotel and air combo, a $50 dining credit, or a $300 grocery certificate!

Escape this season to a warm weather paradise, or book a brisk cool breeze on the slopes of your favorite mountaintop! This offer lets you decide the destination and travel dates with no blackouts! Book a romantic escape, an adventure for that born-to-run spirit, or a relaxing getaway from it all! The choice is yours!

We work with top hotel names such as (but not limited to) Hilton, Ramada, Double Tree, Wyndham, Best Western, Hyatt, Microtel, and many more!

Start your vacation today for only $49, and then hotel fees at booking time avg $20-75 per night

I was prompted at that time with instructions to go to the vacationrescenter.com website, fill out a form specifying my desired travel dates, and that an agent would contact me in 3-7 days with the results.  When I got the results, the quotes were for $300-$400!  Here's the email that I received from the company when I sent in my complaint:

Hi Brandi,

Thank you for bringing up your concern with the deal.

I apologize for the confusion about the voucher that you purchased online. However, let me take this opportunity to let you know that the $49-deal for 3 days & 2 nights do not cover the overall cost. Having this deal entitles you to have the privilege upon booking with us, in getting the lowest rates available at the time instead of paying the standard retail price on the market.

Also please remember that your offer also includes bonus gifts of restaurant gift card or grocery discount for up to $300 after booking with us. So you are still receiving more than the value you paid for the voucher initially.

Please let me know what you think.

Best Regards,
Ben
