I had signed up with T-Mobile Cell phone about 3 months ago, the horror started when I only received one bill, they sent my next bill to a wrong address, well being the good consumer that I am I paid them 40.00 the first month, then paid them again 40.00 the next month even thow I did not receive a bill from them, I moved from Maryland to Pennsylvania and that is when my horror story really began I went to go change phone number from Maryland number to a Pennsylvania, they told me at beginning that I would have to rebuy a new sim card even thow I just got the phone in september, then I went to go change my address, I have never seen a bill, just sent to me from them without me requesting one.

I feel they are trying to rip off the consumer by not working with them found out I had a 260.00 balance, only due to them not sending bills so I could not change my rate plans because they did not offer them at any of the T-mobile service centers in Maryland, I only started out with weekends free and that started at 12:00 midnight when no one is awake, here to find out they did change the plan at the end of October, again when I never received a bill from them I did not get bill for 3 months now then they use up your airtime calling you from there customer service department and don't put the airtime back on your cell phone.

WARNING TO CONSUMER NEVER GO WITH T-MOBILE THEY WILL SCREW UP AND NEVER WORK WITH YOU, THEY DO NOT LET YOU KNOW THAT ALSO THEY USE TO BE VOICESTREAM AND THEY GOT BOUGHT OUT BY T-MOBILE MAYBE THEY WERE TOO ASHAMED TO ADMIT IT. ALSO IF YOU THINK YOU ARE EVER GOING TO RECEIVE A BILL AT YOUR RIGHT ADDRESS WRONGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG YOU WON'T.

THEN WHEN YOUR BILL IS SO HIGH BECAUSE YOU DON'T KNOW ACTUALLY HOW MANY MINUTES YOU HAVE USED ON THE PHONE. ALSO THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE PEOPLE ARE VERY RUDE WAS TOLD BY MIKE OPERATOR NUMBER 023374 " THAT HE DID NOT RIGHTFULLY CARE" EXACT QUOTE. THEY WILL NOT WORK WITH YOU ONLY PLAN THEY HAVE TO MAKE PAYMENT ARRANGEMENTS IS IF YOU PAY HALF THE BILL AFTER THEY LET IT GO UP SO MUCH YOU CAN'T PAY IT ALL THAT WAY, THEN THEY HAVE THIS STUPID 14 DAY AND 14 DAY PAY PLAN BUT IF YOU ARE NOT WITH THEM FOR 4 MONTHS FROM THE DAY OF SIGN UP YOU CAN NOT GET IT THEY NEVER TELL THE CONSUMER THAT WHEN YOU GET IT, THEY TELL YOU IF YOU NEED PAYMENT PLAN THEY WILL WORK WITH YOU. WRONGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG AGAIN THEY WON'T.

GO WITH ANYONE ELSE BUT THEM BUT NEVER I REPEAT NEVER SIGN UP WITH T-MOBILE CELLPHONE SERVICES. ALSO THEY ARE NOT EVEN BASED OUT OF THE UNITED STATES THE COMPANY IS BASED OUT OF ALBUQUERQUE, NEW MEXICO, 87176 THE CONSUMER RELATIONS WHICH PROBABLY CAN'T EVEN READ A LICK OF ENGLISH. THERE P.O. BOX NUMBER IS 37380 SO AGAIN FAIR WARNING IF YOU WANT RIPPED OFF BY A CELL PHONE COMPANY GO WITH THEM IF YOU LISTEN TO THIS RUN AND DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM.

Family Free Minutes? ..an absolutely fradulent business practice!

AUTHOR: M. - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, June 13, 2004

I signed for for the T-Mobile Family plan with three phones. I was told all contact between these three phones would be absolutely free and there would no NO MINUTES charged.

I was just informed, after noticing that we were using minutes awfully fast, that if a call is sent or received and the signal is not a T-Mobile or VoiceStream signal, for example, the AT&T signal is picked up, YOU WILL BE CHARGED MINUTES therefore, the FREE family-talk is NOT FREE.

SO BEWARE, if you travel and call your family member on your FAMILY PLAN phone, you MAY BE CHARGED MINUTES. So be careful, if you are chatting away and think your aren't being charged minutes you VERY WELL MAY BE. And any usage over your minute-plan, you WILL PAY 40 CENTS PER MINUTE.

What an absolutely fradulent business practice!

I am not a "new" customer

AUTHOR: Sherri - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, July 31, 2003

I have been with T-Mobile a year now. Customer Service has never been less than responsive in the rare instances I have had an issue. I get my bills on the 4th of the month, they never vary more than a couple of dollars, whereas with Cingular or Sprint, it was always a nerve-racking experience to open your bill with their imaginary "roaming", etc.

Most people's problems with cellular service stems from not understanding their calling plan and not knowing how to stay within their calling plan.

Please become educated when you reply about T-Mobile, they care more about their new customers rather than their existing ones.

AUTHOR: Isaac - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, July 29, 2003

I too have had some bad experiences with T-Mobile's billing services. My father and brother also had the same things happen to them. I do agree that they have to get better with their customers. Too often I think they care more about their new customers rather than their existing ones.

As a side note, the company is based out of Bellevue, Washington, not New Mexico. The only thing in New Mexico is a call center, which by the way, is IN THE UNITED STATES! We are the large body of land between Arizona and Texas. I hope that you can find us here, because I feel like we have been lost fo quite some time.

You know, I dont see why everyone is so hostile. Look. I have been with TMobile since it was Voice stream. I have noticed better care since it changed. I believe there is 10 million subscribers, and thousands of employees. If they can work out an employee selection process that nets 35 complaints out of 10 million, they are doing something right.

AUTHOR: Sherri - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, June 13, 2003

Customer Care will give you a balance by dialing 611. It is automated and totally free. OR, you can go online and get access to account information that way, including UNBILLED usage. You can also pay online with credit, debit card or check.

There are no excuses if you don't get your bill via snail mail. And using the online or telephone payment options also gives you peace of mind knowing that your payment posted.

Christine must be prejudice, or biased!

AUTHOR: David - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, June 12, 2003

Christine,

You are a prejudice, biased *ssh**e! I have had T-Mobile service for almost two years now! I have never had a bad experience with them.

As far as cancellation penalties go, all, I say ALL, cell phone carriers have contracts, and early cancellation penalties. Check them out:
http://www.attws.com or http://www.mlife.com
http://www.sprintpcs.com
http://verizonwireless.com
http://www.cingular.com
http://www.cellularone.com/Home.asp
and the list goes on......

As far as they don't speak english:
I have called T-Mobile many times, for alot of reasons, and everyone I spoke to spoke english very fluently! Maybe you should be tutored by one of them, and they can teach you how to write english just as fluently.

As far as your bill goes:
I receive a billing statement at my address every month, usually on the same day every month! You screwed something up there.

As far as night and weekend minutes:
It is clearly stated that nights start at 9:00 PM, and continue through 6:59 AM. Weekends start Friday at 9:00 PM and continue through Monday at 6:59 AM. It's not my fault that your friends don't have a life, and can't have fun! Try calling them on Saturday or Sunday! Or, better yet, call them from your home phone! If they are local, it won't cost you anything anytime! Do you have a home phone? I do!

As far as minutes being deducted from plan:
It is in your literature that if you call T-Mobile from your cell phone by dialing 611, it is free (def. of free -- no charge, no deduction of minutes), for as long as you are connected to them; it could be 1 minute or 12 hours or 100 days, if your battery lasts that long!

As far as not knowing how many minutes you used:
Call customer service, it tells you as soon as you call, and best of yet, it's free (611 from mobile phone, or 800# from home phone)! Most phones also have a feature called a minute minder -- the phone beeps every minute you are connected on a call! Also, most phones have a built in timer, actually many timers -- a day timer, a month timer, and a total timer! Read your user manual!

If there is anything I didn't cover, let me know! Or visit your local T-Mobile Store, they are very up to date on the new technology of all phones, and can explain your rate plan for you -- In plain good old English!

Note: I do not work for T-Mobile, nor do I have an interest in the company, except that I am a faithful consumer who does not neglect their monthly bill! Also, If for some reason, I don't receive a bill, I investigate it immediately, not six months down the road!

T-mobile is still a rip off ..why don't you read from the other 35 people that have had almost the same problems as I have

AUTHOR: You Know Me - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, June 01, 2003

Ok to all you idiots that responded that T-mobile is so great, why don't you read from the other 35 people that have had almost the same problems as I have with the customer service representatives, that have not a clue how to treat there customers, also since the ones that came under mine must have someone that work for t-mobile or knows someone if you all love them so much try cancelling or go in the 35 complaints about the company and see how they will charge you the 200.00 even if you already fulfilled the contract.

I had found alot better service and I can be on my phone for hours and not be charged anymore than what they have told me my plan would be also if I want to leave the company they offer a no contract service, unlike t-mobile they don't offer no such plan, because they want to charge you for every little cent they can!!! and to the one who said that I have poor grammer you understood everything that I typed so you must just have as bad grammer as I do then or you got your mother to read it too you, or your caretaker whichever is near you I guess.to the ones that read this that have had complaints about t-mobile you keep complaining they will be out of business do to ripping off the consumer.

Also to the person who use to work for t-mobile that said they are told to lie to the consumer, thank-you for the info, oh and for the one who said that rates all start at 9:00 pm you must not of had the same plan I did or you took it out later than I did because they did offer the plan that you started your free time at midnight and who the heck are you going to call after midnight, unless all your friends hang out at bars and drink to 2:00 in the morning, mine don't they have children also which you need to get sleep because your family is more important than your booze. Also to the guy who said t-mobile stands for toilet high five to you.

To conclude this I will still say this: GO WITH ANYONE ELSE BUT THEM BUT NEVER I REPEAT NEVER SIGN UP WITH T-MOBILE CELLPHONE SERVICES. THE COMPANY IS BASED OUT OF ALBUQUERQUE, NEW MEXICO, 87176 THE CONSUMER RELATIONS WHICH PROBABLY CAN'T EVEN READ A LICK OF ENGLISH, not saying they are not based out of the united states but you can hire mexicans for less.

THERE P.O. BOX NUMBER IS
37380 SO AGAIN FAIR WARNING IF YOU WANT RIPPED OFF BY A CELL PHONE COMPANY GO WITH THEM IF YOU LISTEN TO THIS RUN AND DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM.

About Christine. Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

AUTHOR: Din - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, May 12, 2003

To Christine:
I started my wireless since 1997. I had 4 different carrier since. Now I have T-Mobile since July 2002.

T-Mobile is NOT based in New Mexico, it is a German company, second larger GSM wireless in the world. Some wireless carriers are TDMA.

For example, AT&T wireless is one of the lagest TDMA carrier in United States, and now AT&T is also providing a GSM service.

IF you don't understand about wireless, you should shop around before you signed up with any carrier, ask them questions, ask them about phone equipments, rate plans, coveragwe area or map coverage. Ask them what include on rate plan, ask them a bout promotions. Some carriers have limited time offer on promotion. So they don't change the rate plan, it just the promation is over.

When you moved from one state to another state, you need to find out the coverage area and the rate plane at the new location.

BTW, to find out how many minutes you use on your phone, press 611 and send......

T-Mobile is one of THE BEST wireless carrier

AUTHOR: Din - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, May 12, 2003

T-Mobile came to Nevada and California on July 15, 2002. It has been a great GSM carrier. I had few cellphone carriers prior T-Mobile. With T-Mobile I can send text Messaging to all around the world.

To whom it may concern. WEEKEND is always begin on Friday midnight to Sunday midnight. IF the carrier provide you a free weekend minutes, you have all day Saturday and Sunday to call for free anywhere in U.S. There are some carriers provide you free nights and free weekend. Some carriers on new account, night begins from 9PM to 5:59AM and some carriers from 9PM to 6:59AM.
T-Mobile is night from 9PM to 6:59AM.

IF you change the address, you NEED to call or write to your cellphone carrier, if not you'll be missing the bill.

If you deel with customer care, you need to deal with a good head, talk to them friendly, respect them like how you want to be respected.
After all, you the one who call them for help. Ask anything about wirless that you don't understand, they will help you, they do care theier customer!!!!

AUTHOR: Melanie - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, January 30, 2003

I have been a t-mobile customer for almost 6 months now, and I have never had problems, of course I knew what to expect when I read the contract! You show how ignorant you really are first off by saying Albuquerque is not in the US, and second by complaing about something you should have at least made an effort to change the first time you didn't receive your bill. People like you make it really hard for consumer's to be appreciated by companies, by complaining of stupid moronic things. Do yourself a favor, and don't buy anything that is electrical or technical, because obviously you have no clue!

Nothings wrong with t-mobile

AUTHOR: Dustin - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, January 07, 2003

Ok first off if you actually knew anything about cell phones you should know the voicestream changed to t-mobile considering i seen tons of tv commmercial saying so.

Also if you use your cell phone to call t-mobile it is a FREE CALL if using your cell phone dialing 611 i believe it is. Therefore NO AIRTIME is lost or needed to be refunded. You complain about your plan starting at 12 midnite, why did you get that plan then? They offer many plans that work fine for just about everyone, sounds like you were just to ignorant to look into any of these plans before making your purchase. You also state that you dont know how many minutes you have used without your bill? Most phone now have the ability to view minute useage and also minutes used for dialed and recieved calls. For that you might want to try reading the manual. If you have time to read anything that is.

I have been a Voicestream\T-Mobile customer for almost 2 years WITH NO PROBLEMS what so ever. I have had problems with phones which have all been promptly replaced with-in 2 days. The customer support specialist have always been very nice when talking to me. I have always recieved my bills to my address. They also charge a fee if you cancel early, though i am not sure about changing phone numbers. Although i have used about 3 sim card for my one phone number since i started with T-Mobile.

Next time you should really shop around before making a commitment.

Oh and FYI people in New Mexico do speak english. They also have better grammar that you.
