#4 Consumer Suggestion

Possible way to get your money back from Photopoint.com

AUTHOR: Mike - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, February 26, 2002

If anyone has charged the fee to their credit card (mastercard or visa) for Photopoints service,
you should contact your credit card bank immediately, to dispute the charge.

However, you must contact them within 60days of the transaction date, and you can request a "chargeback" for non-reciept of services. Your credit card company needs a written letter. Then, they can credit your acct and "chargeback" the amount to Photopoints credit card merchant bank.

If it is over 60 or under 90days, you could request a "claim or defense" chargeback, but that may or may not work.

I worked in a credit card customer service department, so I know that you can dispute charges on your account (with valid reasons).
