I bidded for a 2 1/2 star hotel and was downgraded to an inferior motel upon the booking payment. As advertised on the site the 2 1/2 star hotels are :  Hollyday Express, La Quinta, Best Western, Ramada and others ( see picture attached)  I was given a 2 star hotel upon payment - Super 8, wich is not even a hotel but a motel.

I wrote 2 emails and they refuse to recognize or address the problem. 

my second email 

Thank you for your response Sir, but it still does not address the fact that Hotwire booked an inferior category upon payment and was misleading. Again I booked a 2.5 star then I got a 2 star, which are totally different hotel chains as shown on the site. Pictures go attached to clarify my point. Issue still not solved, I hope you do as requested as I'm already taking this complaint to customer defense associations in California and in the USA .
