As a former employee of Goldrush Getaways I feel the urgent need to warn the public about these ripoffs. These are some of the former employees from the now defunct Travelbridge. If you really want to read 100's of stories of how this place operates, check out the ripoff report on Travelbridge.

People are called at home and offered a free vacation to attend a sales pitch on joining this club. Little do they realize is that the free trip they are promised to recieve is more of a pain than free. Very few people ever really get to ever take them. They refer to this as breakage in the industry, and sit around laughing at the people who are excited about getting their trip.

The sales managers name is bill, and man what a winner he is.He loves the thrill of the kill, and delights in taking thousands of dollars from the retired and elderly for a membership that is worthless. As a member of this travel club you recieve what they call a CLIA card. This is highly illegal for them to even be issuing these cards, as I will be informing CLIA about these scammers next.

One of the owners is a guy buy the name of Lorne Bruchet. He has bankruptcies in California charging off 100's of thousands of dollars of debt, so he found a patsy by the name of Brian Carr to be his front man with his name on everything, claiming no ownership. Please people! Dont become another of their victims.

Goldrush is great

AUTHOR: fred - ()

POSTED: Sunday, June 16, 2013

I bought into Goldrush Getaways. I travel alot and have saved tens of thousands of dollars. Vacations are great. I have never bought into one of their packages, so no comment. I do own timeshares and they are better and cheaper than any of my friends who spent ten thousand or fifteen thousand on a timeshare.

I was in Vegas for my birthday, slept in a $450 dollar a night room and only paid $26. The cheapest price closest to what I got at Goldrush Getaways was $160, followed by $180. People, that complain about them and some of their methods should skip to the other side for a while. For me it has paid for itself 10 times over.

Also, note I do not really save money on airfares, but alot on hotels and vacations and group travel with my family.

not a ripp off

As the owner of a marketing firm that schedules folks to attend presentations, we have never encountered a problem with folks getting their gifts. Everyone that attends the presentation gets their gifts as promised, whether they join or not. Jeff sounds like a disgruntled nonproductive employee, lashing out at a 30 year old company that he could not manage to sustain a position with.

We have sent folks to Goldrush, and as of this date, have not received any complaint call backs from them, on the presentation or gifts being a problem. When you attend Goldrush or any timeshare or vacation club presentation, you are giving your time in exchange for the gifts. Most people understand the concept to realize this is the club or resorts way of advertising.

Rebuttal to still another erroneous report

AUTHOR: Brian - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, October 25, 2005

This hit piece is yet another shining example of why this website is not a good idea. It lets indivuals file false claims without verfication of facts.

Jesse was never an employee of Godrush Getaways but rather a temporary retained through a staffing company. Jesse was not let go because he spoke his mind. Jesse was let go because he could not take direction from his supervisor and refused to perform the duties for which he was hired. Jesse never had a title of secrectary(sic). Jesse cannot even spell secrectary(sic). Jesse says he does not care yet he files this false report. And this site allows it.

We informed the staffing company of Jesse's insubordination and had him removed from the premises. We asked the staffing company to send us an individual who could take directiona perform the duties assined to them.

How many times must we defend ourselves against this website and how then can we get false informatio removed? There is no recourse. This site is not protecting good companies from false claims.

I am disgusted.

Goldrush Getaways also known as Travelmaster Inc

AUTHOR: Jessie - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, December 20, 2004

Well here's my take. I was a former employee hired by Goldrush Getaways also known as Travelmaster Inc. and ill say that the sale's tactics were rather harsh. Althought I am entitled to my opinion I believe high pressured sales for any company can be rather nerve racking sitting in a room for hours to recieve what they call a FREE gift. Alot of the employees there are great people I just think everyone there is under alot of pressure. Member services is improving but as in any company there is alot of work to be done. I was a secrectary for the company and I guess didn't make the cut because I expressed my views and people didn't take to them well which I really don't care. Hopefully Goldrush starts giving out pats on the back to people that really need them in there admistration but I don't see that happening anytime. I wish them all the best of luck in there business venture and wish everyone there the best of luck.

Retraction Letter, I, Jeff Cope, wrote the erroneous report.

AUTHOR: Jeff - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, January 20, 2004

I, Jeff Cope, wrote the erroneous report. I am not a former employee of Goldrush Getaways. My company was an independent contractor retained by a third party to perform marketing services for Goldrush Getaways. The contract was terminated. A dispute resulted.

I regret having posted this report. I regret badbusinessbureau.com posted this report without checking the validity of all the facts.

My company's issues with Goldrush Getaways have been settled. Do not base your decision to do business with Goldrush Getaways on my web posting, but rather opon your own investigation. My relationship with Goldrush Getaways was not as a consumer of Goldrush Getaways service or products. My relationship was as a subcontractor to Goldrush Getaways.

In all sincerity ~

Jeff is a vindictive liar

AUTHOR: Twiggy - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, June 21, 2003

I was an employee of Travelbridge and am now employed by Goldrush Getaways. Travelbridge was a complete rip off leaving thousands of angry people in it's quake. I would never have come to work for Goldrush Getaways if it were anything like Travelbridge. Jeff is using Travelbridge's bad reputation to try and get people to think Goldrush is associated with them. This is nothing but someone who is angry and trying to destroy a good company. I love working for Goldrush and can honestly tell you that they service their members well.

Proud to work for Goldrush Getaways

AUTHOR: Barry - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, May 15, 2003

I was offered a position with this organization about 4 months ago. After extensive research, I only found one complaint... this one. I refuse to work for a company that does not service their product. I spent well over 4 hours online, looking for something negitive about this type of business, most of what I was reading was Travelbridge stuff. Before I accepted the position with Goldrush, I presented them with a list of my concerns. I wanted to know what was going to make them different. The answer I received was very simple, SERVICE. I was told, "we service what we sell and we are prepared to hire as many agents as we need." I won't be long winded. I can provide a list of customers who are elated with the prices and service they receive from Goldrush. Service is the ONLY thing we have to seperate ourselves from the Rip Off companies. This is not one of the rip off companies. I am proud to work for Goldrush Getaways.
