I was approached at a Maxim Magazine event  and charmed by Danica's bubbly personality and well-spoken demeanor.I exchanged contact information with her because we were both in the film industry (I am a co-producer of several Hulu projects) and we seemed to really hit it off. Fast forward 8 months and I was invited by Danica for drinks at the Beverly Hills Hotel. At around round 2 of drinks she presented an offer for an upcoming movie that she planned to shop to Amazon Prime and a few other streaming channels. I found the concept and the script interesting and she assured me that she was already through casting and set locations. I told her that I might be interested and then I was told that she would love to have me on board. She asked for a $50,000 check (after being presented with a contract) and she showed me all of the raw shots and footage. She constantly gushed over the script and the actors and I trusted her.

The money was never used for this project. Three months after that meeting I had continued to ask to be a part of the operations and have some time on set. She kept using COVID-19 as an excuse as to why the actors were not available to shoot for each planned shoot day. This happened four or five times. I then see her posting lavish trips to Cannes, Salt Lake City, and Europe. I asked her why she was attending film festivals and going on vacation when the original projected completion date was near and she brushed me off.

A year later I am sitting here with no involvement, no film, and out $50,000. The contract I signed had several predatory clauses included in it and it was clear that this was the game for her all along. I have been blocked on all social media as well via cell phone. I implore you not to be charmed by this woman and if you do go into business with her - READ THE CONTRACT!
