This EDitor has reviewed the Reports regarding White Glove Moving and Storage and has found that out of over 18,000.00 moves White Glove Moving & Storage only sustained 10 complaints of which 2 were found to be posted by an unscrupulous competitor. White Glove Moving & Storage Interstate move. Ripoff They took my money up in front. Did not show up for the move. Jersey City New Jersey
I was moving from PA to FL. After internet search I decided to go with 'white glove moving & storage'. My contact person Ben Teller requested money deposit up in front. Because my location (middle of nowhere) I was asked to pay the minimum ($1600 despite actual load, so it is worth driving to distant location). I did agree to those conditions. We set up a pick up and delivery dates in 6 weeks advance. There was no problem. On the day of pick up nobody showed up. Nobody called me. I called to find out that they were not going to do my move. Reason being 'when we scheduled your move we were hoping to get something else in that area (until last minute) but it did't happen so we won't move you now, but we'll be glad to move you in 6 weeks'. Althoug I was able to recover my deposit. I had to hire another moving company on one day notice (which was very difficult and expensive). I'm sure they contine to do the same on regular bases to unsuspecting costumers.
