I've got a good bit of insight as to how Jack Crawley runs Fisk Automotive. Jack Crawley and Fisk Automotive are why we have a Bureau Of Automotive Repair in California. Jack cheats his customers, and does not deliver accurate/timely diagnostics.

First; John Mills; John is the, "Diagnostic Technician", at Fisk Automotive. John is a Fake. That's it. John Mills is the reason why your diagnostic bill will increase. You will be called, and asked for more money for, "more diagnostic time". John has had many vehicles there, for over a week. Some have stayed, for 3 weeks, and the white Chevrolet pickup was there, for 2 months! This to fix what was a remedial issue. John Mills will go to an Internet Chat Board to ask a mechanic what's wrong with your car, then he'll go to YouTube to learn how to remove and replace the part. He's Jack's little buddy, and does what he's told, so he stays.

Now; Johh ("Jack") Crawley. Jack Crawley spends half of his talking time explaining what he meant. This is because Jack is the rudest person alive. Jack is a clod. He says the rudest and craziest things to people. My coworker and I would constantly make excuses to Jack's customers and vendors for his attitude. In one particular instance, Jack sent a grown woman home crying, because he went of on her, completely unprovoked. I was there. Well, thank God for that (Jack does, as well), because her 30 year old son came down to the shop to whip Jack's tail. I was able to calm him to the point that he didn't hurt Jack, and I don't eally even know why. Shoulda let him deal with the guy.

Next; Jack Crawley's, "Mentality", on how he charges you for his services. Jack Crawley and Fisk Automotive have the highest Labor Rate and Parts Mark Up of any auto repair shop in fullerton. Jack charges more labor labor money for European Cars and Deisels. Jack works on Diesels, only if the job is easy enough. There are 3 Labor Guides in the automotive repair business; Mitchell (oldest, and The Authority), AllData (Good, but not customer friendly - high labor times), and MOTOR (riduculously high labor times). Jack Crawley and fisk Automotive make the MOTOR guide up by 20%. MOTOR already runs 25-35% higher than Mitchell, and Jack ads 20%!!!   One place where Jack really went wrong with me was in charging customers for his services. Jack makes up for losses on jobs, by charging, "Easier", customers more on their jobs. Jack calls that, "necessary to properly run the business". Shops are not supposed to bump up labor guide times (ethically), because they are already mechanic/shop friendly. If a mechanic can not perform a repair in the alloted labor time, he in NOT A MECHANIC. I, once, told Jack Crawley that I had to sleep at night, as well as sell auto repair. Jack mocked that, and stated that he sleeps very well just how things are.....................
