Baker, LouisianaBack in July, 2008, we applied for a proerty improvement loan under a misleading business term of equipment leasing through Mr. Leonard Freeman(according to GCR he is their National Level Sales Executive, everyone GCR is some sort of Executive, what a joke!!!). Mr. Freeman verbally promised a loan of $200,000 and asked us to make an advanced payment of $9,395.00. Trusting him, we arranged for that an GCR withdrew the amount from our account in July, 2008. After collecting the money, GCR started changing their requirements and kept on asking for all kinds of financial records and personal tax papers. This was a part of their game, and we didn't know about that. We were told over and over that we could loose our deposit. We requested GCR to process the loan or refund our money, nothing was done. After a month, we were asked to deal with Mr. John Grant, the Vice President. After that we never heard back from GCR until I wrote to the Attorney General of the state of Florida. I haven't received my money back but was able to shake people at GCR. Mr. Grant also called me requesting no to go to the court beacuase he is afraid of getting exposed of their wonderful practices.
If you are a victim of their deceitful, predatory practice, please write to the Attorney General of the state of Florida. Also, I urge everyone to get together and take a classaction lawsuite aginst GCR. Please write to ma at xxxxxxxxxxxx.
