Saint Louis, MissouriI fell for this scam!! I ordered my 'free' bottle of capsules, and was charged $4.95. I have no problems with this. I specifically looked for something that stated that there would be future orders... often called 'negative option ordering'. I found none. All of a sudden, I'm getting extra charges on my credit card. I did receive their product, but sure don't feel that it's worth $59. I called the 800 number, and had to wait in the queue for over 20 minutes. Hidden somewhere on their web site, there is statements that unless you call them and tell them you don't want them to, you will automatically be send a monthly supply of this product.
Now, the record companies use to use this practice, and it bit them in the AXX (you figure out what the XX's are)..
They have assured me that my account has been cancelled, and that I will no longer received their product, or have my credit card billed. We'll see next month what happens.
I find that this practice is very DECEPTIVE, and a SCAM. I have filed a complaint with the Atorney General of Idaho, and am sending a copy of the complaint to the company too.
Stear clear of this company... The product may be just fine, but how the choose to market it is wrong, and IMHO crooked.
